Important reminders to all members!  

We all hate rules, we don't want them as a committee  and as members, you don't want to be bothered with them.   That said, we need to talk about courtesies so that we are treating all our members fairly.

The club is at maximum capacity and has been for two years.   That makes the committee very proud of the activities we have put together and tells us we are planning events that you enjoy.

We generally have a 3 week sign up period before each event.   The cut off date for reservations is (8 days) the Friday of the week prior to the event.   At the time of cut off, the committee meets,  and based on the numbers of reservations, makes the final plans for food and entertainment and we submit our plan to the facility.   

Things come up for all of us, sometimes that requires canceling a reservation.   If that happens before the cut off date, we happily refund the fee.

After the cut off date, your reservation becomes non refundable and non transferable. 

If you find you do need to cancel, please send an email to Hadleysocial@gmail.com and we will take it from there.

By then we  have made a commitment for food with the vendor and are not able to make a change.  Nor can we refund the fee as the vendor is expecting to be paid.     

We have heard your questions........if I cancel after the cutoff date, why can't I  give my tickets away?

Since we generally have a waiting list of members who would like to attend the meeting, it would be unfair to those members who have patiently waited to get a seat,  to honor a request to allow someone not on the waiting list to attend.   We all like to help our personal friends, however going forward, we must discontinue this practice.  We ask your cooperation to assure we are acting fairly to all members.

We hope that you all understand and can put yourselves in our shoes  and the shoes of those on the waiting list. Remember this reminder is meant to be a courtesy to all our members.

The doors open at 6pm, please remember your first stop is at the check in table and then on to enjoy the evening!!!
